ISELED 3023 Smart LED – ISELED Smart LED Chip    

As the first Taiwan member of ISELED, Brightek has deeply involved in the ISELED Alliance for many years, enabling Brightek to have a high degree of ISELED technology integration capabilities. Brightek brings innovative product experience to release the smallest ISELED LED, 3023 (3.0 X 2.3 X 0.9mm), it saves 30% space for ambient light designers and performs excellent thermal resistance (30K/W ). Compared to other ISELED products with the thermal resistance of >100°C/W, the junction temperature rise of 3023 is only 25% under the same driving condition to allow more flexible arrangement in applications around whole interior

cabinet of vehicles. Furthermore, 3023 adopts the advanced reflective coating packaging technologies for avoiding absorption between IC and LED dies to have excellent efficiency. To arrange dies on the top side makes the soldering pad area at bottom can be double of the other ISELED LEDs. Currently, the general method to package an ISELED LED is to put IC at the bottom side of the lead frame, it limits the lead size for soldering significantly. 3023 has the excellent brightness performance of 1400mcd with calibrated white color at D65, especially, it can be dimmed to various color via pulse width modulation (PWM) easily. There are 16,777,216 colors can be shown by adjusting 8 bits PWM level for R, G, B individually.

3023 is a totally automotive grade smart LED solution, except robust signal transmission between ICs, Brightek also verified 3023 with strict AEC-Q standards, both AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q102. 3023, a thin and small smart automotive RGB LED, preforms the most consistent light color (<3SDCM) with outstanding brightness, that is what Brightek would like to offer automotive industry to easily create stylish and splendid lighting modules for enriching ambient in vehicles.
